Expressions Art Sale & The Next Picture Show Celebrate 10 Years (10th Annual Expressions Art Sale and Reception benefits the Sinnissippi Foundation)

(Dixon, IL) 2014 is a milestone year for both the Sinnissippi Foundation and The Next Picture Show in Dixon. Both are celebrating anniversaries: 2014 is the 10th year for the Expressions Art Sale, and the 10th year for The Next Picture Show.

“It’s been 10 years that the Foundation has held the Expressions Art Sale and Reception at the Next Picture Show in Dixon,” says Andy Jackson, Marketing Coordinator and event organizer for Expressions. “Expressions has grown right along with The Next Picture Show over the past decade to become a major fundraising event for the Sinnissippi Foundation. We could not ask for a better partner for this event,” adds Jackson.

In addition, Sauk Valley Bank has returned as co-sponsor of Expressions in 2014. “We are very pleased to have Sauk Valley Bank’s continued support of Expressions,” says Jackson.  They are an important partner in making this event a success.  They have been a wonderful supporter of the Sinnissippi Foundation, but they have also demonstrated a commitment to the arts and to their local community as well. It’s a pleasure to have them on board and a very natural fit for the local community-oriented bank.”

“We couldn’t have a high-quality event like Expressions without the dozens of sponsors, artists, businesses, and organizations who donate silent auction items, The Next Picture Show staff, and volunteers, and Sinnissippi Centers and Sinnissippi Foundation board members and staff volunteers,” adds Jackso.

The 10th annual Expressions Art Sale and Reception began April 8th when art and silent auction items went on display at The Next Picture Show (113 West First Street, Dixon). Expressions conclude Friday, April 25, 2014, at the gallery, with an evening reception from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
